Tamatoa uses quick fix glue to hold a bamboo rod. One piece of the rod measures 3.4 meters and another piece measures 4. 7 meters. What is the total length of the bamboo rod after it has been glued together?
4.7m+3.4=8.1
4m+3m=7m
0.7m+0.4m=1.1m
7m+1.1m=8.1
(Problem 2)
Maureen covers 3. 9 kilometres by walking and 7.8 kilometres by bike. Find the total distance covered by Maureen.
3.9km+7.8km=11.7km
3km+7 km=10km
10km+1.7km=11.7km
