Dear PWC,

Thank you for coming in to Glenbrae School. We really appreciate what you have done for Glenbrae School. Thank you for the TOITOI book and TOM GATES book. We hope you come back next year. Thank you for the money that you gave year 8 and 7 camps and also thank you for the smart tvs. 

Thank you for not going work and spending the rest of the day with Glenbrae School.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa Claus

My name is Danielle and I am 9 years old. I have been very nice and also good to my mum and my dad and each other.

I have been a good girl this year. My mum and dad said that I should write you a letter to ask you for some toys.

I would also like to say thank you for the presents you gave me last year. I still play my drums. I still play it to my family.

Tell Rudolph I said hello tell him I will leave Santa Claus and Rudolph some carters  and cookies and milk.

Today we are learning about students moving to a new country. Mohibullah arrived in New Zealand in 2015. His dad died in Pakistan in 2011 and the fighting there made his mum and younger siblings wanted to leave. Mohibullah was only nine when he left Pakistan he’d never heard of New Zealand before and he couldn’t speak english. Thankfully there were people who spoke Urdu his native language at the Mangere refugee resettlement centre MRRC. MRRC helps refugees get ready for life in New Zealand. With their help, he learnt English in a month.
